Roundup: Black Friday to 12/6 - $1630 of stuff for $265

Sorry, this blog has been greatly neglected.  You'd think I'd update it during the summer right? Ha, I was working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week; I barely had time to myself!  And then came school and blah blah blah, but I'm back so enjoy!

On Black Friday, I went to H&M and bought a shearling jacket for $16.  It was originally $35, $20 on Black Friday and I had a 20% off coupon from signing up for their newsletter (Available year round).  I also got a black velvet tutu dress for $5 which was quite a steal!

Gap perfumes were 40% on Black Friday so I grabbed "Stay".  It is originally $10, down to $6 from sale and I had $5 off from this coupon so I got 0.34 fl oz of an eau de toilette for only $1

Sephora had Aquolina Pink Sugar 1.0 fl oz for only $10, down from $29 for Black Friday.  I already have a bottle of this, I just bought another one as a backup because I'm a panic freak when I run out of my products.

I finally bought these ankle wedges in leopard for $29.50.  Makemechic had a 30% off coupon which covered the shipping costs.  I already got the same boot in black, but I loved them so much that I got them in leopard too.  They are the most comfortable shoes and the silhouette is amazing.  They just came out in plum too!  Guess who is getting a pair?

I bought Dusk in purple (looks little more vibrant in person), a studded bottom bag from Just Fabulous using my credit that I bought on Plum District for next to nothing.  The bag is actually from Vieta. They were selling $40 vouches for $19 and there was a 15% off coupon so I got vouchers for $11.15 because  there's $5 credit for every person you refer that purchases and for the person that purchases. I bought 5 vouchers for $44.60 and got $3.85 left in Plum District credits. If you are curious, I bought Law in beige, Lois in Nude, Principle in black, and Decades Denim Marlene Tux Pants with my other vouchers.

I bought a Personal Microderm from Dermstore.  It retails for $179, it is on sale only at Dermstore for 20% off, there was a $30 off $150 on Black Friday weekend, there's a Thanksgiving gift bag that comes free in purchases $150 and up, there's 8% cash back from Shopathome.com (sign up and you'll get $5 in your account automatically), and my debit card gave 20% cash back on Dermstore purchases for a limited time.  The PMD was around $141 so I threw a bottle of Skindinavia spray in to make it $150.  There's free 2 day shipping on purchases over $100 and the spray was going to delay shipping by 2 weeks so I called and got the spray off my purchases and they also honored the coupons and gift bag.  I ended up getting a PMD $179, Boscia Revitalizing Hydra Lift $35, Weleda Sea Buckthorn Body Lotion $22, and a travel size Decleor Hydra Floral Moisturizing Cream for only $87

At F21, I bought a white oxford shirt $15.80, grey bedazzled dress shoes $6.99, a lace print skirt $6.50, ruby red stud earrings $4.80, large hair styling clips $1, mustard yellow tights $4.50, eyelash curler $2.80, a cobalt blue wool beret $5.50, and a black wool beret $5.50.  None of the things were on sale except for the shoes, I didn't want to wait till Black Friday to order them because they would have been sold out by the time I ordered them.  I've been wanting a standard white oxford for the longest time and I finally found it at F21 for a really good price.  The shoes were an impulse buy, I really wanted "grown up glam" stud earrings, I really needed clips cause I didn't have any, my eyelash curler's rubber grip was all cut which was also cutting my eyelashes so I needed a new one, mustard tights are extremely in this season, and I've been wanting a cobalt blue wool beret for 2 years.

I bought 5 vouchers on Plum District for Sole Society that were $25 for $50.  It was Black Friday weekend and they had a $10 off coupon code which I used in conjunction with my $10 credit that I got from either purchasing via mobile the 1st day PD went mobile or from creating my account during the $10 credit promotional period.  Each $50 voucher only cost me $5 and not to mention, there's 8% cashback via Shopathome.com.  I'm not sure if I'm getting $2 back or $0.50 back per voucher.  I spent $20 for $250 of vouchers as one of my accounts was loaded with credits so I didn't have to spend a cent.

With my vouchers for Sole Society, I bought 7 pairs of shoes.  I bought Heather in dark spice, Lulu in black, Lallixa in brown, Tivoli in army green, Billie in brown, Charlotte in red, and Kyte in nude.  I'm returning Lallixa because one shoe is darker and looser than the other and you can't do anything about it, Billie has a round toe which I hate, and Charlotte's ankle straps hurts to walk with.  If you are interested in Sole Society, you can join here.  It is a shoe club that gives you a monthly selection of shoes.  You are not obligated to buy every month.  Most shoes retail at $49.95, but if you order on the day your account is opened, you get a pair 50% off.  There is also a $10 off coupon right now: sassyholiday.  These shoes are by designer Marco Santi which you can find at DSW and some of the shoes are made with genuine nubuck, leather, suede, or kid suede and they still retail at $49.95.  For high quality shoes, it is a steal!

About a couple weeks back, Plum District was selling Hautelook vouchers $25 for $50.  I bought 7 vouchers for $68.50.  There was $10 credit for person purchasing and $5 for the referee and there was some coupon available. There's $10 credit for everyone that you refer that purchases on Hautelook so I accumulated $70 of credits for free.  Over the past month, I bought 5 Michael Stars shirts, 2 hats from Lulu NYC , a backpack from Lulu NYC, a set of makeup brushes from Crown Brush, an Insound hoodie, and I recently purchased a Covet modal dress, a Marika dry v-neck tshirt, a bunch of TheBalm cosmetics, an RXB sweater and a Sturhling watch for my boyfriend.  I bought Sexy Mama Translucent Powder $19, Down Boy Blush $21, Hot Mama Blush $19, Bahama Mama Bronzer $19, BalmShelter Tinted Moisturizer $25 from the TheBalm flash sale. I think in total, all my Hautelook purchases cost $10 more than what I paid for for all the vouchers.  I bought $1150 worth of items for only around $80.

On Plum District again, I bought 2 $50 vouchers to Calinana.com for $3 in total.  They were selling them $25 for $50. I had $10 in credits from either the purchasing via mobile promotion or the $10 credit sign up promotion, credits from referring, and there was a $10 off coupon for Black Friday.  With my vouchers, I bought the Merkaba necklace $45 and the Seahorse necklace $46 for $0 additional.  They both are made with solid gold chain and pendant.

Origins was having a $10 off $25 and free shipping promotion for Black Friday.  I bought 2 bottles of Clean Energy Cleansing Oil because I was sick and tired of using Pond's Cold Cream as it is a pain in the butt to wipe off everything and it is just gross to use.  Each bottle was $21 and so I paid $32 for $42 of products.  It is extremely rare to get department store makeup/skin care on sale and this one was one of the biggest coupons I've seen from Origins so I had to purchase.  I've been wanting a bottle of cleansing oil for 2 years now, but I've always held back because they were so expensive.
If you add it all up, I bought $1630 of stuff for only $265 :D

Weekly Roundup: 7/24-7/30

  1. I got my Shoe Dazzle shoes!  The Eugenies were cute and comfortable.  They are actually made by Unlisted by Kenneth Cole.  They retail for $54 and they were $40 on Shoe Dazzle and then on BOGO Free and I got them for free by using a voucher that I bought for free via Groupon.
  2. I also got my Gracielas from Shoe Dazzle.  The lavendar color works well with my olive skin tone, but the straps are a pain to put on.
  3. I won a bottle of Australian Gold sunscreen from Teen Vogue from some giveaway maybe a couple months ago that I don't even remember entering.  I was skeptical of the product, but I can now say that it is my favorite sunscreen of all time.  It has a Invisi-Dri technology that makes the product try matte just like Neutrogena Dry Touch Sunscreen but it comes with 100% more product AND it is a LOT lighter in consistancy.  I always worry that the Neutrogena sunscreen will clog my pores because it is so freaking thick, but now I have Australian Gold :)
  4. I got my missing samples from Bobbi Brown in the mail.  I got a deluxe sample of the Extreme Party Mascara, the Oil Free Moisturizer and a packets of other stuff.
  5. I got one of my Activa watches in the mail.  This one came damaged on the strap because the faux leather was like shedding off, I emailed Fraction Price and hopefully they will replace it.  If not, I'll just scrape the coating off the whole strap and wear it because it was only $3.
  6. I got my Amiclubwear shoes in the mail.  They are amazingggg!  The brown military style boots are freaking hot, but a bit tight because I'm a bit packed there, but the elastic will stretch over time.  The black thigh high boots are awesome as well. The pink sole is so cute and the fabric is stretch and soft to touch, unlike many other faux suede shoes.  They're like double lined leggings.  The boots are a bit loose around the thighs.
  7. I purchased a pair of Jeffrey Campbell Skate Shoes in White on Karmaloop.  They retail for $200, found them for $148, used 21% off coupon, got them for $117.
  8. I also purchased a pair of Jeffrey Campbell Lita Boots in Taupe Suede.  They retail for $160, got them for $126.
  9. I got a Liz Claiborne phone case in the mail from 1SaleADay for free, but sadly it doesn't fit my phone.  Retails for $30.
I paid $244 this week for $398 of stuff

Weekly Roundup: 7/10-7/16

  1. Purchased 3 Almay One Coat mascaras retailing $6.99 each.  They were buy 2 get 1 free at Rite aid so I paid for 2 and I also had 2 $2 off Almay One Coat Mascara coupons for a total of $11.  If you purchased $10 worth of eye products from Almay that week, you got a $4 +UP reward and there is a $1 rebate for Almay mascaras up to 3x.  Overall, I paid around $1 per tube of mascara.
  2. I purchased 2 Rimmel Extra Super Lash Mascara on BOGO 50% at Rite aid.  They retail around $3.69 so they totaled $5.53 and I used the $4 +UP reward from purchasing them mascara so I only shelled out $1.53 more.  There is also a $3 rebate if you buy any 2 Rimmel mascaras so overall, I bought 2 for $1 each.
  3. Walgreens was selling their 6 blade razors for $3.99 and you get a $3.99 Register Reward so it was free. They are originally 6.99
  4. Walgreens also sold GUM floss for $2 and you also got a $2 Register Reward so it was free
  5. I purchased an Infiniti by Conair 1" Tourmaline Curling Iron for $17.99 on sale and I got a $5 Register Reward so it ended up being $12.99.  It was originally $28
  6. I purchased 4 Rimmel Lasting Finish Primers from CVS because they were 75% off and they are so hard to find at CVS these days!  This is my favorite primer of all time because it mattifys my skin like no other.  This primer is 75% at all CVS locations, it is just really hard to find in stock.  These were originally $7.49 and I bought 4 for $7.49
  7. I also purchased a Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Rosette because it was 75% off
  8. Balance bars were $1.69 at CVS and you get a $1.69 ECB back so I got one.
  9. I purchased a LG Optimus V for $135 because I had a 10% off coupon at Best Buy.  Originally $150
  10. I bought a ton of school supplies at Staples for $0.01 and $0.25.  They had packs of erasers, pens, and glue bottles for $0.01 each and pencil cases, folders, stickies, and other things for $0.25.  There were also tons of stuff for $1-2
  11. I bought a $40 voucher for ShoeDazzle.com from Groupon for $19 which ended up being free because I had $20 of credit.
  12. I bought 2 $12 vouchers for Cellpig.com from Savemore for $6 each which ended up being free because I had $27 of credit.
  13. I bought a case and 3 mirror screen protectors for $0.99 shipped on Cellpig.com
  14. I got a Pandora Black Flowers Glass Charm in the mail for doing a Pandora Club survey for free. Retails $40
I spent $176 so far this week and I got $356 worth of stuff plus tax!

Weekly Roundup: 7/2-7/9

LOL, I didn't buy anything really this week.
  1. I had 2 $5 +UP rewards at Rite aid that I got for free because I purchased somethings using a lot of high value coupons.  I used the +UP rewards to purchase 2 bottles of nail polish remover (Believe it or not, this was my first time buying nail polish remover, I've never owned a bottle) and a bottle of Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Face Wash because I was running very low on facial cleansers that removed makeup well and this one was the best on the market for not drying out skin.  My stepmom also grabbed a few things so our order totaled $15 so I could use my $3 off $15 coupon.  Everything ended up being $2 for $15 worth of stuff. Cool
  2. I won a Xen Tan Red Carpet from E! from a Beauty Undercover giveaway.  Retails $48
  3. I won another Milani HD Lipcolor from their Facebook sweepstakes, Retail ~$7
I spent $0 and got $68 worth of stuff

Weekly Roundup: 6/5-6/11

  1. I purchased 2 Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Nail Polishes at Rite aid on BOGO 50%, retail $2 each and I had a $0.50 coupon for both.
  2. I purchased 2 Rimmel London Nail Polishes.  They were BOGO 50% and I had 2 $2 off Rimmel coupons at Riteaid.  The polishes retail $4.49-4.99, I can't remember
  3. I purchased a box of Clairol Natural Instincts Vibrant Hair Color in Light Ash Blonde for free with my coupon.
  4. I purchased a family size bag of Lay's Kettle Cooked Jalapeno Peppers chips for free with coupon.
  5. I bought 4 boxes of Veet Facial Waxing Strips.  They retail $4.49 each box and I had 2 $3 off and $2 off manufacturer coupons.  I also had 2 $2 off Rite Aid Video Values coupons.  There was a $2 off In-Ad coupon in their weekly flyer which I totally forgot about which made me really upset with myself; I used it on my 2nd trip.  There was also a $5 +UP reward with purchases of 2 (limit 2).  So, after all the coupons, I got 4 boxes for -$10.
  6. The John Frieda hair products were $4.99 this week at Rite Aid.  The Full Repair line has a rebate of $5 at Rite Aid this month.  Only the Root Lifting Foam was on sale for $4.99 though and I got 2 bottles because there's a limit of 2 for the rebate.  There's $1 off John Frieda coupons on the products and I only used 1 because I forgot about the second time which makes me even more disappointed in myself because I forgot about coupons 2x.  But anyways, I got them for $-1
  7. I grabbed 2 Almay Bright Eyes Concealers for around $2.50 each, I don't remember the exact amount but I know it was around there.  They retail for $8.99 I believe.
  8. At Walgreens I grabbed the last Revlon Age Defying Spa Concealer for $2.78.  Retails for $11.  I forgot to use my $1 off Revlon coupon!  Ugh 3rd time this week.  I could have saved $6 more this week, but I didn't.  I know $6 doesn't seem like a lot to fuss over, but I can legit get $40-50 of stuff for $6 so relatively it is a lot.
  9. I got my antique chain bracelet from nomorerack! It actually looks pretty good.
I got $84 worth of stuff for $8, which could have been $2 if I didn't forget my coupons.

Weekly Roundup: 6/12-6/18

  1. I got the Decorative Black, Light Floral and Leopard Jamberry Nail Shields in the mail
  2. I got a sample packet of the Garnier Clean shampoo
  3. I purchased 2 Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stains in Lust because they were 75% off and I had 2 $2 off coupon peelies.  Came out to $1 for both
  4. I got a deluxe sample of the Murad Mattifying moisturizer from Sephora JCP with coupon
  5. I returned my Sephora Blockbuster Palette 2011 version for the Urban Decay Naked Palette.  They both retail $48, but I had a $15 client accommodation for the Sephora Palette so I technically only spent $33.
  6. I exchanged my Boscia Black Luminating Peel Off Mask $34 which I got for free for the Sephora Favorites In The Glow Set $35.  I liked the mask, but it really didn't pull out anything, not even from my nose because I guess the pores would just absorb everything no matter how much I put on so I would literally see holes at my pores with the mask on; when I peeled it off, nothing would come out because the mask had separated from the parts of the mask in the pores.  In the Sephora set, it had the mask AND 6 other skin products.  Most of the products are 1/2 the size of the full product, all retailing $30+.  It says that it is worth $110, but I did the math and it was around $103 which is still a pretty amazing deal.
  7. I purchased the Benefit Stay Put Set $10 because I really liked the Benefit Erase Paste concealer.  The full size is 0.15oz and it retails for $24.  The set comes with a 0.11oz of it and including the other 2 products, it is only $10!  If you do the math with all the proportions, it comes up to $31 worth of makeup!  I did all my Sephora shopping in 1 go and I used a $23 gift card which I got free for returning a gift and I also got $11 back in cash from the returns. Woo!
  8. Free entree with entree purchase at Smokey Bones!  Saved $8.99
This week I got $140 of stuff and spent $4 and got $11 back!

Weekly Roundup: 5/29-6/4

  1. 3 Revlon Colorstay Mineral Lipglaze in Continuous Coral.  They retail $9.99 each and were on 75% clearance down to $2.50 and there are $2 off Revlon Colorstay Lipglaze coupons on the packaging so I got the remaining 3 for $1.50 in total.
  2. Certain Rimmel products are also 75% off at CVS.  I grabbed 2 Stay Matte Foundations in #200 Soft Beige and a Glam'eyes Flirt Mascara for $-1 because I had 2 $3 and a $1 off coupon.  I plan on going back for the 75% off primer I've been wanting for the past 2-3 years.
  3. The ROC Multi Correxion Lift Anti Gravity Eye Cream I won is here! I'm probably giving this to my mom.
  4. Got a Natural Instincts Hair Color coupon in the mail from facebook promotion.  Max value $16!
  5. 3 Happy Me Skincare samples from facebook promotion.
  6. 2 Tresemme Naturals samples from a promotion.
  7. 2 Milani HD Lip Colors from Seventeen Magazine giveaway.
  8. Got the boots I ordered from Amazon.  The opening is tighter than most sheerling boots which I'm not too keen about because I have large calves.  The main reason I like sheerling boots is because the opening tends to be the same size as the largest circumference of my calf so it makes it look slimmer because it doesn't taper if I wear them.  I think I might give these away.
  9. 2 Garnier Pure Clean samples from promotion
  10. 2 John Frieda Root Awakening for Dry Hair samples from a promotion.
  11. 2 bottles of Renpure Organics Body and Shine Conditioner for free from Riteaid.  They're $4.99 this week and if you buy one, you get $4.99 back in +UP rewards. Limit 2.
  12. 3 $15 Jamberry Nails vouchers for free from Savemore.com.  If you sign up, you get $10 to spend on whatever and the vouchers were $7.50 each!  I would still sign up now if you still haven't, there are tons of things that on there that are $10 and under.
  13. Ordered Jamberry Nail Shields in Decorative Black, Leopard, and Light Pink Floral
  14. 2 Tend Skin 0.25 fl oz samples came in the mail.
  15. I purchased a travel size tube of Sudocream from England for $6 shipped. I had left overs of a gift card that I purchased half priced.
Saved around $114 this week and spent $2!

Weekly Roundup: 5/22-5/28

  1. Got the white purse I ordered from nomorerack in the mail
  2. Received a bottle of Proactiv Oil Free Moisturizer SPF 15 in the mail.  I have no freaking idea where it came from.  I tried to google and find whatever sweepstakes that might have been giving this out, but there was none....
  3. I bought 6 Revlon nail polishes for $4.99 each at CVS and got $4 back in Extra Bucks for each polish.
  4. Jergen's Self Tanners are BOGO Free select items at CVS so I got a bottle of Natural Glow Express for $10.49 and received a bottle of Natural Glow Daily in Revitalizing, both for Medium-Tan skin tones because self tanners tend to be orange when intended for light skin tones.  I also used a $1 off coupon for each.
  5. A Sweet & Salty Zone Perfect Nutrition Bar came in the mail from a facebook promotion
  6. I got another trial size bottle of Clean & Clear Morning Burst Body Wash for texting 467467 BODY
  7. 5 packets of skin care samples from Somme Institute from a promotion
  8. A bag of Seattle's Best Coffee in level 3 for free from facebook promotion
  9. I won a bottle of Au Natural Ayureda Essential Body Oil
  10. Got my Rodarte for Target dress!  Unexpectedly, it looks quite nice on.
Saved $83 so far this week and spent $15
